Terms of Service
Yuki Shaders is a studio for live WebGL backgrounds, with templates you can drop into your own sites. These terms cover using it. They're short on purpose; if anything is unclear, email contact@dixieraizpacheco.com.
Who runs it
Yuki Shaders (yuki-shaders.app) is made and operated by Dixie Raiz Pacheco, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines (“we”, “us”). By using the studio or creating an account you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company or client, you confirm you can accept them on its behalf.
Your account
- You sign in with an emailed link or a passkey; there's no password. Keep your email inbox, passkeys and any authenticator app secure, because whoever controls them can reach your account.
- Use an email address you own, and one account per person.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else got into your account.
What you make
- Your work stays yours. Images you upload, the looks you build and the images you export belong to you (or whoever you got them from). You can use exports in personal and commercial work, including client projects.
- To store and show your projects we need a limited permission to host, process and display them. That permission covers running the service and nothing else, and it ends when you delete the project or your account.
- Only upload images you have the right to use. When you turn on a share link, anyone with that link can open a copy of the project, including its images, until you stop sharing.
Templates and code
- You may use the template code in your own websites and apps and in projects you build for clients, and change it as you need.
- You may not resell or redistribute the templates themselves, or substantial parts of the studio, as a template pack, theme, shader library or competing tool.
- Some templates rely on third-party libraries (for example Paper Shaders and three.js), which are licensed by their own authors. Their licences apply to that code.
Fair use
Please don't:
- upload anything unlawful, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit or meant to deceive;
- use share links to spread malware, phishing or spam;
- probe, overload or work around the service's security, rate limits or access controls;
- scrape the service in bulk or use automated tools to create accounts.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why when we reasonably can.
Changes and availability
Yuki Shaders is under active development. Features may change, move to paid plans or be retired. If paid plans are introduced, their price and terms will be shown before you buy anything, and nothing you've already saved will be deleted without notice. We aim to keep the service running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free, so keep copies of anything important.
Ending your account
You can stop using Yuki Shaders at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, open Account in the studio and choose Delete account, or email contact@dixieraizpacheco.com from the address you sign in with. We may close accounts that break these terms or that have been inactive for a long time, with notice where possible.
No warranties
The service and templates are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about them, including fitness for a particular purpose or that they will work in every browser or device.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, data or business, from using or being unable to use Yuki Shaders. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections the law of your country gives you.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes we'll tell signed-in users by email or in the studio before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
